筑波大学准教授。博士（工学）。IPA未踏IT人材発掘・育成事業PM。人工生命研究会主査。株式会社ブランクスペース技術顧問。人工生命技術、大規模言語モデルを使ったデータ分析・生成・活用の研究を行う。大学での研究をベースに、新しい技術の社会実装と、これまでにない視座を持ち込み、革新的な価値の提供に力をいれている。コミュニティを活性化するアルゴリズムの開発、オープンエンドなアルゴリズムの研究開発などを行っている。著書に「ALIFE | 人工生命 ―より生命的なAIへ」「作って動かすALife ―実装を通した人工生命モデル理論入門」がある。
Associate professor at the University of Tsukuba. He is a Ph.D. (Engineering). PM of IPA’s unexplored IT talent discovery and development project. Director of the Artificial Life Research Group. Technical advisor of Blank Space Co., Ltd. He conducts research on artificial life technology and data analysis, generation, and utilization using large-scale language models. Based on his research at university, he focuses on social implementation of new technologies and bringing unprecedented perspectives to provide innovative value. He is developing algorithms to revitalize the community and researching and developing open-ended algorithms. His books include “ALIFE | Artificial Life – Toward a More Lifelike AI” and “Creating and Operating ALife – Introduction to Artificial Life Model Theory through Implementation”.
